Privacy policy
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms. If you email us, we use your message only to reply. Each of our products, Askel and InboxLink, has its own privacy policy, linked below, which explains what that product does with your data.
Who we are
CIELTD ("we", "us") builds software, websites and infrastructure for clients, and its own products. This policy covers the website at cieltd.org, email you send us, and the work we do for clients. Questions about it go to efokou@cieltd.org.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. The site is static pages. It does not set cookies or use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it has no forms or sign-in.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel's servers receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page, and may keep them briefly in request logs for security and reliability. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Fonts. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google. See Google's privacy policy.
Email you send us
When you write to us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply, and to do the work you ask about. Our email is hosted on Google Workspace. We do not sell it, add you to a mailing list, or share it with anyone outside CIELTD unless you ask us to or the law requires it. We delete messages we no longer need.
Client work
When we build or run something for a client, we handle the client's data only to do that work, as agreed with the client. The client decides what data their product collects; their own privacy policy covers their users. At the end of an engagement we hand back or delete client data, as agreed.
Our products
Each product has its own policy, which covers its sign-in, the accounts you connect to it (such as Google or LinkedIn), what it stores and how to delete it:
- Askel, a workspace for your job search: getaskel.com/privacy
- InboxLink, mailbox connection infrastructure for developers: InboxLink privacy policy
Where a product connects to Google or LinkedIn on your behalf, it uses that data only to provide the features you turn on, as that product's policy describes, and never sells it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email efokou@cieltd.org; we reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our website and products are not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes to how a product uses your data are announced in that product.
